Brewing a West Coast IPA is somewhat of a deep passion project for Nick and Angus. Regularly sitting up top as one of our favourite beer styles to drink, nailing a perfect ‘Westy’ is not something that we think is easily achieved.
With Thieves, we approached the style from a slightly different approach. Still remaining true to the core values of what makes a West Coast IPA such a quintessential part of the craft beer world, we also introduced the exclusive use of single batch, single origin Australia craft malts from Voyager Craft Malt. Layering a diverse hop bill on top of a nuanced and full flavoured malt profile resulting in Thieves being a unique, yet familiar, take on one of the most popular of styles.
