If there's one thing we believe in, it's showing up for our neighbourhood. That's why we're thrilled to be sponsoring this year's Yeronga State School Fete and Community Carnival on Saturday 22 August 2026 - and we'll be there in person, running a pop-up bar for the grown-ups to enjoy while the kids (and the rides, and the cake stalls, and everything else that makes a school fete brilliant) take centre stage.

27 South was founded by two long-time mates who wanted to build something that felt like it belonged to the people around it - not just another beer brand, but a genuine local. After years of brewing around Brisbane, we opened our taproom in Coorparoo late last year, and community has been at the heart of everything we do ever since. Sponsoring events like the Yeronga State School Fete is exactly the kind of thing we love getting behind. Because a strong local school means a strong local community, and that's worth raising a glass to.

So come find us at the pop-up bar on the day (open 11am-6pm), grab a cold one, and say g'day. We'd love to meet you. And if you can't wait until the 22nd, or you're keen for another visit afterwards, our taproom is open every Thursday to Sunday at 44 Milsom Street, Coorparoo. Pull up a stool, meet the team, and try something from our core range or one of our rotating limited releases.
